This butter dish is perfectly sized for a standard stick of butter! The lid has a tiny bit of wiggle (the charm of handmade pottery!), but it rests nicely in the dish and keeps your butter cozy.

It is finished with lead-free, non-toxic glaze that is safe for food and drink. It has been fired at over 2,000°F, making it dishwasher and microwave safe. I personally choose to hand wash my handmade pieces just to give them a little extra care.
