This cup is discounted because it has the tiniest hairline crack at the bottom of the cup. It is tricky to see in the photos becasue it is so small. It is filled in with clear glaze so it is still safe to use, I just wouldn't feel right selling it at full price knowing it's not 100% perfect!
It is finished with lead-free, non-toxic glaze that is safe for food and drink. They are fired at over 2,000°F, making them dishwasher and microwave safe. I personally choose to hand wash my handmade pieces just to give them a little extra care.
