The crack has been sealed with glaze, so the mug is still fully functional. While it isn't quite perfect, I wanted to be transparent so you know exactly what you're purchasing.
Aside from this small imperfection, the mug is finished with a lead-free, non-toxic glaze that is safe for food and drink. It has been fired at over 2,000°F, making it dishwasher and microwave safe. That said, I personally choose to hand wash my handmade pieces to help them stay beautiful for years to come.
